Born
and raised in Pamplona, Spain, He came to the United States
in 1974. Although specialized in flamenco, his guitar playing
stretches from Classical to Latin Jazz.
As
a student at the University of Madrid, He founded a jazz
combo which included a young flute player, Jorge Pardo.
Now famous at his own merit and for his association with
Paco de Lucia. Later, Jose departed from jazz working as
a solo player and accompanying other artist.
He
has accompanied Mexican soprano Beatriz Aznar and world
renown dancer Jose Greco in their performances in San Antonio.
In
1992 he played at the Majestic theater for President Bush
and Six other President's of Latin America.
Perello
currently performs as a guest artist for several dance companies
on a regular basis.
